- Fountain launched an improvement to their earnings, referrals, and comments system with their 0.4.9 update.
- Stacker News released Wild West mode and a negative feedback system that uses sats alongside the Stacker News Web of Trust to improve discourse on the site.
- THNDR Games released Club Bitcoin: Solitaire, a spin on the classic card game that allows anyone to stack sats for playing.
- LNProxy launched a trustless tool for improving pubkey privacy on Lightning
- BitGo unveiled their Custodial Lightning service to help customers integrate the Lightning network into their applications or services.
- Bolt.Fun announced their Legends of Lightning tournament with 3 BTC of prizes for makers to learn, connect, and build Bitcoin and lightning apps.
Other Lightning Network Metrics
Despite a Bitcoin bear market and a global recession, Lightning payment activity continues to reach new heights.
- LNMarkets routed a record 58 BTC ($1.2M USD) in the last month, coming from 25,000 different Lightning payments that their node helped process.
- Zero Fee Routing routed 15 BTC of payments in a single day last week.
- Deezy routed 13.5 BTC of payments in a single day last week.
- Cyberhub routed 50 BTC of payments in a recent 7 day span.
- Wallet of Satoshi has made 400,000+ Lightning payments in the last 45 days, approaching a run-rate of 10k transactions/day.
- 1,273 Stacker News users have earned more than 100 sats on the platform. Collectively, they’ve earned over 22,000,000 sats to date.
